The subject of today is how to get your business onto the front page of Google…really fast.

There are many ways to do this but the one we are going to focus on today is building a “Link Wheel”.

A Link Wheel is basically a series of web 2.0 websites that all link to each other AND your website.

Web 2.0 sites are basically Free blogging or article database websites that you can use to create “mini landing pages”. Any of the following qualify as a web 2.0 sites:

  • Google sites
  • HubPages
  • Zimbio
  • Wikispaces
  • Wetpaint
  • WordPress
  • GoArticles
  • Quizilla
  • Tumblr
  • EzineArticles.com
  • MSN spaces
  • Tripod
  • Webs
  • Vox
  • LiveJournal
  • Xanga
  • Blog
  • Knol

This structure of linking builds powerful links back to your website, ultimately helping your page rank in the search engines. All of the links from each of these sites all generate a combined power of “link juice” back to your site, because they are all interlinked there link juice is combined.

I hope you’re still with me here, this really is simple. Lets look at this another way:

1. Web 2.0 Site >links to 2 AND Your Homepage

2. Web 2.0 Site >links to 3 AND Your Homepage

3. Web 2.0 Site >links to 4 AND Your Homepage

4. Web 2.0 Site >links to 5 AND Your Homepage

5. Web 2.0 Site >links to 6 AND Your Homepage

6. Web 2.0 Site >links to 1 AND Your Homepage

SO, after recently getting many of my clients and my own homepage on the front page of Google with Online Video, I am beginning to experiment with link wheels for getting my site ranked even higher, and hopefully getting more than one page of my site on page one of Google for my search terms.

I’ve got some competition in my area but I know that I can out rank my competitors. Stay tuned as I experiment with the link wheel method as I will be writing about my results in an upcoming series.

Lets dominate local search together!
